McGill Talk in Montreal

While in Montreal I also gave a talk on ‘Songs of exile and devotion: Music in Tibetan culture’ at McGill University’s Department of Religious Studies. A great opportunity to meet interesting Tibetan scholars and researchers. A special thank you to Professor Lara Braitstein Wangchuk from the Religious Department for hosting this lecture.

    • Bon and Buddhism makes Tibetan culture. Tibetan culture is one of the most environmental culture in the world. In the songs, we sing the interdependency of nature, family and environment to insure that everyone respect them. In fact without these values, we are not the solution but part of the problem? OK this may need some editing. Techung
